The family of a girl seriously injured when a gun went off at a mall in Fayetteville says she doesn't remember telling police she wouldn't press charges.
Fayetteville Police announced Wednesday that no charges would be
filed in the incident, which left 18-year-old Krystal Anderson
seriously injured with gunshot wounds to the chest and neck.
Police say Anderson was adamant about not pressing charges when
they had her sign a form from her hospital bed. But Anderson's father says his daughter now doesn't recall talking to police. He thinks they should have waited until his daughter had recovered more fully from her injuries.
