Thick fog prompts school delays Thursday. Bertie County Schools and Hertford County Schools will open after a one-hour delay Thursday morning because of the fog. Camden County Schools are on a two-hour delay. There is a dense fog advisory for much of Eastern Carolina through 8 a.m., excluding the Outer Banks.
