Anti-Jim Black Web Site Shutting Down

A Web site dedicated to forcing House Speaker Jim Black out of office is shutting down.

leadership post, but he has refused. Black also has retained the
support of fellow House Democrats.

Sinsheimer in a letter to Governor Easley says the fight is
finished. He also wants Easley to ask Black to resign.

Sinsheimer's announcement comes after Kevin Geddings was
convicted last week of five counts of mail fraud for failing to
disclose his financial relationship with for-profit lottery company
Scientific Games. Geddings was Black's choice for the state lottery
