Dendranthema Morifolium Fest was a mouth full so the town of New Bern went with Mumfest instead and that little festival has blossomed into quite an event.

Organizers expect 80,000 people this year and that will bring in millions of dollars for Craven County. A 2003 study determined the festival generated nearly 5.8 million dollars. But its more than money, its just a good time. There are food vendors, shops, and more lining all of downtown New Bern. Its just a great place to be this weekend.
