Strong winds today have not only heightened concerns for wildfires, but falling trees as well.

Around 2:30 p.m. a wind gust blew down a tree, blocking both lanes of Highway 33 between Grimesland and Chocowinity.

No one was hurt, but one driver told WITN News that he was lucky it didn't hit him.

Volunteer firefighters cut up the tree and the highway was open again aroudn 3:45 p.m.
