Officials have sounded the all clear in Apex, regarding the chemical waste fire that's been burning for days.
Nearly 17,000 residents evacuated the Apex area when a fire broke out at the EQ Industrial Plant Thursday night. Hazmat crews have finally extinguished the flames, and have tested the air for pollutants. Now, Saturday, they say its OK for the residents to go back to their homes. It was feared that the smoke and fumes could have been deadly toxic.
