A driver lost control of his truck carrying a large load of cinder blocks and ended up running off the road and flipping. Trooper Jamie Wayne says the driver, along with the passenger, were injured and flown by East Care to Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Trooper Wayne says the accident happened on Aurora Road Wednesday morning near Askin in Craven County when the driver ran off the road and overcompensated. He went off the road on the other side, hit the ditch and flipped over. The road was blocked for about an hour.
