Police in Greenville say while a Confederate flag was displayed during a July march to rename all of Fifth Street in honor of the Reverend Martin Luther King Junior, no crime was committed. Civil rights leader Reverend Ozie Hall asked for an investigation into the incident. Police concluded the display was not a violation of state law or city ordinance.
