Police arrested a man after he reportedly reached into his pocket like he had a gun and forced a customer in front of him at a Dunkin Donuts to pay for his order

Jacksonville Police say it happened at the Dunkin Donuts at 301 North Marine Boulevard Friday night.

Police say a man standing in line told the woman behind him to go ahead of him. When she did and placed her order the man reportedly said she was paying for his as well. The woman said she thought he was joking until he motioned like he had a gun.

Police searched the area and found the suspect about a block away. He's identified as 33 year-old Darryl Medley of 500 Sherwood Road, Jacksonville.

Medley is charged with extortion and resisting, obstructing and delaying a police officer.

Police did not say if he had any donuts or coffee when they caught him.
