Going Bald For Charity

Employees at one factory in Eastern Carolina shaved their heads bald Wednesday in the name of charity. Several employees at the Moen plant in Craven County went under the razor as part of the company's effort to raise funds for the United Way. The head shaving was the idea of the factory's plant manager who quickly recruited other employees to follow. The shaving event raised nearly $600. The company is aiming to raise $130,000 for United Way.
