Two Greenville Shootings in Two Days

A couple of shootings has the Greenville Police Department on edge.

The first one happened Saturday morning around 6:40 a.m., when police say Reginald Maurice Langley was shot at 1908-A Kennedy Circle.

Police say the gunman was this man, 29 year old Curtis Lamont Atkinson. According to law enforcement the two men had been arguing earlier, which led to the shooting. Langley was shot in the leg, and taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Police are still searching for Atkinson.

Police also say a man was shot in Greenville Sunday morning as well. This shooting happened after midnight around 12:30 Sunday morning, when officers responded to 1513-A Fleming Street. Police say they found a 32 year old victim who had been shot, by two men on bicycles. The victim was treated and released from Pitt County Memorial Hospital. No arrests in either of these cases just yet.
