With the thousands of visitors expected to pour into Greenville for the Pirates home opener against Memphis, authorities are already preparing for the crowds.
Barricades line Charles Boulevard, Greenville Boulevard and several of the streets near the stadium.
Greenville police, East Carolina officers and Highway Patrol troopers will be out on gameday to enforce parking regulations and keep traffic moving smoothly.
But getting all the fans out after the game is also challenging. Officials advise to be aware of delays leaving the game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Dowdy Ficklin Stadium.
