The man at the helm of North Carolina's Lottery Commission is stepping down.
Lottery chairman Charles Sanders is resigning, one year after he helped create and implement the game in our state. Sanders, once the head of pharmaceutical giant Glaxo, told Governor Mike Easley a year ago he planned only to work on the lottery during its start-up phase. There's no word yet who will now become chairman.
