Flooding in Jones County Is Forcing People Out of Homes

Parts of Pollocksville and Trenton still sit submerged underwater. The Trent River crested on Tuesday and continues to spill over into homes and in area parks. One of those homes is Fred Mundines, a home he has lived in for over 40 years. His home sits literally in the backyard of the Trent River. He says the river is always a problem when it crests. Six roadways in Jones County still remain closed Wednesday, including several parts of Highway 41.
