There is still no sign of a swimmer who got carried away by a rip current and went under off a Dare County beach Tuesday night. The Coast Guard suspended its search Wednesday for the 27-year-old man. Rescue crews were called to a beach off Kill Devil Hills about 11:30 last night, as three swimmers were in distress. Two of them were saved by the Kill Devil Hills fire department and ocean rescue. Despite a helicopter and boat search, the other man could not be found.
