Flooding Already In Elizabeth City

Elizabeth City is not looking forward to more rain as heavy overnight storms have already flooded parts of the Pasquotank county town. The floods were caused by a frontal boundary, and not by tropical storm Ernesto's outer rain bands. Wednesday's rains dumped about seven inches on Elizabeth City. Ernesto could bring another three to five plus fifty to sixty-mile-per hour winds, with the worst for them around sunrise Friday.
