Naval investigators say it could up to a year before an investigation is complete in the death of Corporal Tyler Burnette.
NCIS spokesman Ed Buice tells WITN News that it's not likely any new information will be released until that investigation is finished.
Investigators say a preliminary autopsy says Burnette died from self inflicted knife wounds. But the Marine's family in Tennessee say they don't believe Burnette would have killed himself and want a full investigation into his death.

We have another update on the Camp Lejeune Marine who died at the base.
Parents of Jonathan Tyler Burnette told reporters that their 24-year-old son said he did not feel safe at the base during the past Thanksgiving holiday.
This comes after a preliminary autopsy report lists the manner of death as suicide and the cause of death as multiple stab wounds to the head and chest, with a puncture wound to his heart causing his death.
Burnette's parents say they want a further investigation to take place.
