The suspect in the East Carolina University dorm fire in March was in court Friday. Latasha Ann Isler is charged with one count of first degree arson, after a fire at Clement Hall on the ECU campus forced emergency personnel into a nine story rescue of another student. Isler appeared in district court Friday morning in Greenville. She asked and received a continuance and a court appointed attorney. The new court date is set for November. Police say Isler set her roommate's belongings on fire because the two had been arguing. Isler could face nine to fourteen years in prison if convicted.
