Two Camp Lejeune Marines have been charged with in connection with killing a horse in Onslow County.
Micah Joslyn of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Joel Montao of Hubert are facing charges of cruelty to animals, conspiracy, and discharging a weapon within 500 feet of a residence.
In November, Elizabeth Kachmore told WITN that her horse "Alderbaran" suddenly became ill. The seven year old was taken to the N.C. State Veterinarian Hospital in Raleigh where they discovered the horse had been shot with a small caliber firearm. Vets were unable to save the horse.
Onslow County detectives say recovery of the weapon led to the arrests of the two Marines.
Bond was set at $25,000 and the two were turned over to their military command.

Before blasting so-called "heroes" as idiots or as "oh so proud" marines" why don't you give them the same courtesy that you would expect if you were in their position.

Another high mark for our so-called "heroes". Watch these two idiots claim the lame PTSD defense and that the horse was actually two Iraqis in disguise.
