Day two has wrapped up in the trial of a former basketball coach and teacher at North Lenoir High School on sex charges. Charles Stevens, 51 years old, is accused of indecent liberties and sexual battery of a minor in 2004. During his trial Wednesday in a Kinston courtroom, the defense put on its witnesses. They included a woman who was a student at North Lenoir in 2004, and she questioned the credibility of one of the accusers. Other witnesses were three people who worked at the school with Stevens at the time of the incident, including the principal, a guidance counselor and a custodian. The trial is expected to end Thursday with closing arguments and the jury receiving the case for deliberation. We'll be in the courtroom and bring you the latest.
