Goody's family clothing, which has ten stores in Eastern Carolina, will begin going-out-of-business sales as early as Friday.

Goody's family clothing, which has ten stores in Eastern Carolina, will begin going-out-of-business sales as early as Friday.
The moderately priced clothing chain just emerged from bankruptcy in October but was unable to restructure terms with creditors. The Tennessee based company announced it will liquidate its remaining 282 stores in the southeast putting 10,000 people out of work.
This is the first high-profile retailer to go under in a new year that is expected to see many more going-out-of-business announcements.

All I wanted to do was pay my account off in full but had to go through too many "hoops" and not able to reach the company by phone. Hello! how do we reach you? Not a good way to do business..
