A pregnant woman, whose husband allegedly hit her on the head with a hammer, is improving.
Erin Gould was moved from the surgical intensive care unit to the step down intensive care unit Sunday.
Authorities say the 26-year-old Jacksonville woman was hit in the head three times with a hammer the morning of December 19th.
Authorities say her husband, Marine Corporal Jonathan Gould committed that crime before staging a break in for police.
