The conflict between Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Israel is having an effect on some Middle Eastern families living in eastern Carolina.

Many of them are hearing about the war from their relatives who are still there. One man we spoke to says one of his relatives was killed in the conflict. Another man, from Jerusalem says border lockdown, has caused suffering to those living in Gaza. He tells us his children and grandchildren are still there and have no food, electricity or jobs.

Many of the Palestinians tell us they just want the right to basic needs, while Israelis fear Hamas is a militant organization, which will create more unrest.

Hamas is a terror organization backed and trained by Iran. Both want to destrory or wipe the Israelis off the map. That is their desire. Hamas should be defeated at any cost. Iran now has 70,000 students signed up to be "idots carrying explosives" to kill people. GO ISRIAL.

Israel should keep on doing what they are doing until Hamas is crippled and no longer a threat. If it means wiping them out, then so be it. Hamas brought it upon themselves.

Obama has a strong bias towards diplomacy rather than fighting. We know that much from a year of Obama-the-cool on the campaign trail. But that preference is not a substitute for policy. Israel’s action will force Obama to do what he has worked so hard to avoid so far. Obama's the spin master days are over.

From Newsmax Dated 4-2008 Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has received an endorsement he might well wish he hadn’t. From the militant Palestinian group Hamas. Ahmed Yousuf, Hamas’ top political adviser in the Gaza Strip, delivered his endorsement in an interview with World Net Daily and WABC Radio in New York. “We like Mr. Obama, and we hope that he will win the elections,” Yousuf said. " Today Obama says he is very Pro Isreal." But in Arab culture if your Father is Muslim the son is Muslim. Obama's Father was Muslim, so to the Arab world Obama is and will always be Muslim. He also has a very Arab Muslim name. My question is did Hamas give Obama and his people money. To help him get elected. Like Joe Kennedy's deal with the Mob to get his John in office. Whats the pay back? Even if you could never trace the monies given back to Hamas? Fact or Fiction? Ps. Hamas is our enemy too.
