Tuesday police released surveillance photos of the attempted robber. (See photo gallery below this story)

It happened at the city's main First Citizens Bank on Western Boulevard around 2:50 p.m. Police brought in tracking dogs, searching the woods behind the bank. They say the robber ran from the bank.

Police say they're looking for white man in his mid-20s with long brown hair, wearing glasses, a tan ball cap, and a blue zip up hoodie.

Authorities say no gun was displayed and no money was taken.

Why does someone always have to critizize WITN? No where on this page does it say "first on" If you people dont like them then go with the other sites that you have to complain about. WITN i think you do a fine job. Good enough for me!!

From what I can tell...thats NOT a tan ball cap and it looks like a black zip up hoodie. No wonder we cant find the people who commit crimes. Someone cant even describe a bank robber right and he is ON THE CAMERA!!
