A Pitt County man is dead after a car accident New Years morning.

It happened around 6:50 a.m. on Highway 903 south of Robersonville near Crisp Road.

Troopers believe Brokema Larry was drunk at the time of the crash and was not wearing a seat belt.

First of all I just want to say how sorry I am to hear about the lost of a great man as Brock. Even if you did not know him very well you have to remember his smile that he was willing to share with everyone he met because I will never forget. From a friend forever..R.I.P Brock
