15 years old and guilty of murder. Antonio Jenkins from Kenansville in Duplin County, who was 13 at the time of the crime, admitted to killing his next-door neighbor, 86-year-old Mary Fulford three years ago. Defense lawyers argued Jenkins was mentally and emotionally disabled, had substance abuse problems and had a lower-than-average IQ.
