An Eastern Carolina couple returned home safely from India after last weeks attack on the country's Financial Capital killed nearly 180 people.

Phil and Lynne Seymour awoke to a phone call on Thanksgiving from a neighbor thousands of miles away. They left Mumbai for the town of River Bend in Craven County later that day, but behind them, hundreds of people were dead.

Terrorists attacked the city after hijacking a fishing boat just a few miles from their hotel. The couple had gone to bed early instead of heading into the city. They had toured the Taj earlier that day.
