It's the Beaufort County Board of Education versus a local bail Bondsman and tens of thousands of dollars are a stake in a dispute over paperwork.

The Board claims Joe and Mazel Boston weren't honest about filing motions to recoup bond money. When defendants don't appear in court, defaulted bonds are awarded to the Board of Education. Boston's supporters believe the School Board's decision to seek the bond money was retaliation for his criticism of the board's minority hiring practices.

More than 70-thousand dollars in bond money is at stake. A judge could make a ruling by as early as Friday.

I believe that Beaufort Co. Education (Superintendent Moss) and many other entities within Beaufort Co., do discriminate against "Minorities" seeking higher position(s) such as Principalship, law enforcement promotions and diversity in teaching! Yes, it an evident problem in Beaufort County. Secondly, I hope the Boston's resolve this case being in their favor! I've known Joe and Mazel a long time and they are of good character and up-standing citizens. Beaufort Co., has a "secret society" of top level individuals in the county that believe in "oppressing" the minority groups seeking to advance. I say start a "Boycott" in Beaufort County and demand cooperation with these sensitive issues.
