Watch out for funny money. That's the word from New Bern police to local businesses. Three reports of counterfeit $10 bills have popped up in the past week. In one case, a customer paid for his food at Taco Bell on Neuse Boulevard and got a fake bill with his change. The other counterfeits showed up in bank deposits. All of the fake money has been sent to the Secret Service, which handles these cases.
