A two year old missing person case has been solved with the indictment of a man for murder.
Human remains belonging to Mary Carter were found November 7th, just south of Elizabeth City. Now a grand jury has indicted Curtis Roch for the woman's murder.
The 29-year-old Carter was last seen in August 2006 when her mother took her to Kill Devil Hills. Deputies believe Roch killed the woman in a camper trailer and then buried her body approximately 1/4 mile away in a farm field.
Roch is already in prison, serving time for failing to register as a sex offender.
