A family we told you about on Tuesday is running out of time to keep their home. A mortgage company still plans to foreclose on their home Friday.

Frank and Rosemary Leach say they must be out of their Pitt County home by Friday.

Frank Leach says he's been working different jobs for thirty years, but when his health took a turn for the worse, they got behind on bills and couldn't pay the mortgage.

Leach recently received a letter granting him social security disability payment. But the mortgage company, Saxon Mortgage, isn't budging.

Hey Concerned...That was laughable. You don't want to hear the negative side of it? Continue wearing your blinders then. Too bad you don't know the full story on this issue. And the other poster talking about helping people in need. That's great if they are down on their "luck". These people could afford cigarettes, beer, dogs and HBO but when it came time to pay their rent they never had any money. You mentioned "it could happen to anyone". You do err...how can a mortgage company foreclose on you if your home is paid for and you don't have a mortgage?? This is not a crying towel story so get over it. Justice was served. You truly do reap what you sow.

I probably should just keep my mouth shut... but what a better world this would be if people would just help people in need. If everyone's heart was in the right place we would not have to worry about people losing their homes or not having enough money to eat. My family has always given to those in need. This year we both lost our jobs. I was shocked that the IRS picked this year to audit only our charitable contributions from 2 years ago on our tax returns. What a slap in the face. Please just help those in need.

I do not know the Leach family and do not care to hear the negative side of it.If this man is has been granted social security, then Saxton Mortgage needs to work with them. For those of you who want to be negative about this please remember that the same can happen to you. This country is in a mess and no it did not happen over night nor will it be corrected over night. Please try to see the positive side of my post.Thank you!!!!!

The Leach's deserved exactly what is coming to them. When you rip off others it always comes back to you. No sympathy whatsoever for their situation. You indeed reap what you sow!
