Pitt County Schools have now released their preliminary end of grade results last week. They withheld the numbers for a week, saying they wanted to make sure things were correct. Here's what the results show: 19 of 32 schools made at least 90 percent adequate yearly progress and 22 made 80 percent of the goals. Overall, Pitt County Schools met 81 percent of their target goals.
