Dental care can certainly be costly, and for that reason a group of North Carolina dentists are working together to make less fortunate patent's smiles a little brighter.
This weekend a free dental clinic was held at Saint Peters Episcopal Church in Washington. It's called the Mission For Mercy Program, where anyone can come in and receive care at no cost. The clinic offered free fillings, extractions and regular cleanings. One dentist who spearheaded the program says their mission is simple, its just people helping people.
This is the second year Saint Peters Episcopal Church in Washington has held this free clinic.
