UPDATED: ECU Football Player Jonathan Williams In Court

An ECU football player made a brief court appearance Wednesday.

Jonathan Williams appeared in Pitt County court for the resisting arrest charge he's facing. The 20 year old was arrested for resisting on October 5.

His case was continued until January 28th.

The warrant says the running back failed to follow a police officer's order to stay put as they investigated a domestic call. This is one of three arrests for Williams.

He was arrested in April on charges he was driving drunk. The J-H Rose alumni was charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon on October 19.

Williams has been suspended indefinitely from the Pirate football team.
