Former Bethel Police Chief Reginald Roberts trial has been continued. He was due in court Monday on felony drug trafficking and firearms charges, which he has pled not guilty to. The prosecution was granted a motion to continue the trial until August 28th. Jerome Cox, a former lieutenant with the Bethel Police Department charged in connection with this case, pled guilty to a cocaine trafficking charge in January and could be called to testify.
