Stanley Cup Visits " Wounded Warriors"

Carolina Hurricanes defense man Glen Wesley and his family brought the Stanley Cup to Camp Lejeune Marines wounded in battle. The Marines are called the "Wounded Warriors," and some of which still have their friends fighting overseas. For Wesley, bringing the cup to these men was just one way to say thank you. Each player on the Carolina Hurricanes gets a "date with the cup", and this was how Wesley wanted to spend his. The Marines took pictures with the cup and got a few autographs to help them in their healing process.
