Fifth Arrest Made in Mall Shooting, But Suspected Gunman Still on the Loose

A week after the Fourth of July shooting at the Colonial Mall in Greenville and the suspected gunman is still on the loose. Greenville police are still looking for Charles Martin Goldson, Junior. They say he went to his car, got a gun and came back inside the mall and started shooting. But another arrest was made in the shooting. 23-year-old Jawan Dolphin of Greenville, one of two people shot. He was arrested on Sunday evening for his involvement in the mall shooting. He was arrested as he was being discharged from Pitt County Memorial Hospital. At the time, he was still unable to walk due to his injuries and was released by the magistrate on an unsecured bond of $15,000. Sergeant Sherri Dennison with the Greenville Police Department says that Dolphin was one of the individuals that ran into Hibbet Sports, stole a bat and assaulted an individual. Dolphin is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to cause serious injury and also charged with one count of larceny for stealing the bat. So far, five people have been arrested in the shooting.
