Suspect Accused of Shooting at Two Plymouth Police Officers Arrested

A suspect is behind bars charged with shooting at two Plymouth police officers and stealing guns, one of them an assault rifle from Washington County Sheriff's office patrol cars. State investigators say 30-year-old D.J. Carr was taken into custody Thursday, and that Carr confessed to this week's shooting which injured one officer and the break-ins on June 25. Lawmen say they then located the assault rifle, along with an estimated 1000 rounds of ammunition and other stolen items. Carr is now being held in the Washington County jail under no bond.
