Police investigators and staff met with the District Attorney's office Wednesday afternoon in regards to charges in the shootings and assault. Six people now face charges. All the suspects range in age from 18 to 22. Police say the violence is a result on an ongoing fight between Torey Waller of Ayden and Jawan Dolphin of Greenville. The two, along with several other people, apparently met by chance near the carousel just before 6 p.m.. Police tell us mall security separated the two groups and took them to exits, but several ran into a store and grabbed bats while another went to a car and got a gun. Brian Barnes of Farmville and Jawan Dolphin of Greenville were shot. Waller was hit with a baseball bat. Those three are still in the hospital and will face charges upon their release.
