A traffic tragedy in Virginia early Monday morning involved a man from Duplin County, according to officials.
Troopers say a Red Eye Express truck driven by 38-year-old Timothy Lee Taylor of Beulaville drifted off Interstate 295 outside Richmond and crashed into two vehicles. Three people standing beside a disabled vehicle were killed.
Officials say Taylor's truck overturned and burst into flames, but he was not seriously hurt. Police say Taylor is charged with reckless driving.
