The Eastern Carolina sky will be lit up with fireworks for the July 4th celebrations. One of the biggest displays will be in Greenville -- where thousands of people are expected. That's why city officials are passing along some important traffic information to make things flow a little easier. The show is set to begin at 9:15 pm at the Town Common. The Greene Street Bridge will close to all traffic, vehicles and pedestrians at 9 pm. The show won't start until the bridge is cleared. First Street in front of the Town Common will also be closed to vehicle traffic. Police will be on hand afterwards to direct traffic out of the area. They say you can expect delays for about an hour and a half for traffic to clear.
