He says he is living his dream. A Scottish ECU student is cycling across America, to help others.
Robert Grant left Emerald Isle Saturday morning as part of his cross country trek of the great USA, and we caught up with him outside of Kinston. Grant, who already cycled from the tips of Great Britain and back again, is now taking 35 days to span the United States. But Grant's pedaling is also raising money to fight two deadly diseases, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes, a disease that he has a personal connection to. It killed his father a year ago.
If you would like to donate to Robert's charities, you can log onto Robert's blog at coast2coast06.blogspot.com, or can stop by Gold's Gym with a check to Robert Grant Coast 2 Coast Fund.
