Big Weekend for Tourism on Crystal Coast

Between the tall ships and the Fourth of July, tourism officials along the Crystal Coast are banking on the next few days being among the area's most profitable all year. Crystal Coast tourism director Carol Lohr says the Fourth of July weekend is usually the busiest time of the year there. Surprisingly, Lohr says there's still hotel rooms available along the Crystal Coast. Several hundred thousand visitors, 50,000 a day, are expected to flood the waterfront over the next four days.
