Monday we told how rising water levels of the Tar River were impacting residents in the Cypress Sands Mobile Home Park. Tuesday, the water crept up even farther, and some residents say they're packing up and leaving. In just 24 hours, residents in Cypress Sands tell us water from the nearby Tar River flooded out yards and one main street in the mobile home park, making that road virtually impassable without an SUV. We talked to one of the few residents still living there. He says the water didn't become too much to handle until early Tuesday morning and that's when he decided it was time to get out. Emergency management officials in Pitt County say they're handling help for victims on a case by case basis.
