Republican presidential nominee John McCain appealed to North Carolina veterans in a bid to prevent the state from swinging to Democrat Barack Obama.

On Saturday, McCain said his rival is unprepared to lead the United States through the challenges ahead.

McCain told supporters in Concord that the next president will have to act immediately in a dangerous world with many enemies.

He asked veterans to raise their hands so the crowd could honor them and declared that Obama will mishandle troops overseas.

True: How 'bout some "True" facts. Obama was NOT on Meet the Press on 9/7/08 and said no such thing. Look it up for yourself if you want to really see what's "True". Do some of you truly believe each whacked e-mail sent to you?! Please show some respect for our great nation, folks; some of y'all REALLY seem desperate to the point of coming unhinged.
