The stock market doesn't leave much for investors to be optimist about, but some are finding that silver lining in the falling stock prices.
Local financial advisors say their clients are concerned there will be nothing left of their investments if the market continues to fall.
But Matt Waters with Greenville Financial Advisors, says he's telling clients the market will rebound, and to not make a decision to sell stocks at rock bottom prices, but instead, may pick up some.
With lower prices there's a chance, when the market get better they can make up for the loss. Which he says is the normal trend for the market anyway.
Waters advises this is cycle leading to this stock market crisis will get better, especially when the bailout money is injected into the economy.

This country would implode if another depression occurred. The gimme generation, & worse those taking from the system that never pay back would be in the street. Devil Dog, when I read your comment the first thing that popped into my mind was a newscast I saw after hurricane Katrina. There was a woman interviewed by the news. I will never forget seeing that woman jumping up & down demanding aide "NOW!" She looked like a lunatic, & may have been one.
To Mr. Bob...Maybe this country needs a DEPRESSION,instead of trying to avert one? The reason the government,is trying so hard to stop the financial and economic free fall, is they know this generation of pampered, coddled, and social misfits couldn't hack misery for more than 10 minutes. Maybe that's the right medicine? This generation would fill the streets with violent protests, instead of grit and determination. FDR had the people singing "Happy days are here again". What song would this generation sing? Would it be "SOCIALISM is here to stay"?
I've been smart enough not to invest my money with those crooks. What has happened is the foreign investors have found out Wall St. is nothing more than greedy crooks,so they're selling and will never return. Technology stock is holding it's own lol, can't see how since the majority of that is off shore. The melt down was created by the brillant democrats,Acorn a definite contributor. Now our country is headed toward socialism. And the majority of the people want obammy to save you, keep crying, this is going to be fun.
