Update: Arrest Made In Child Hit & Run Which Left 3-Year Old Dead
Police say the driver who hit and three-year old girl Wednesday night returned to the scene some two hours later.

Published reports out of Rocky Mount say 3 year old Ah' mauria Dancy died Thursday after being hit by a car on Wednesday.
The man who is accused of hitting her and then driving off could face other charges.
Previous Story:
An arrest has been made in last night's hit and run involving a three-year-old child.
Rocky Mount police say it happened at the intersection of Barnes and Cherry streets around 7:15 p.m.
Police say 19-year-old Emmanuel Coley returned to the scene approximately two hours after the accident. He's been charged with felony hit and run and for driving without an operators license.
The victim was airlifted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital where police believe she is in critical condition.

I understand that you cannot watch your child 24/7, as I have a 2 year old. But at 7:15PM, my daughter is inside eating dinner about to get a bath. If you have children, you need to key-bolt lock your doors and put the key somewhere your child cannot find it. I do that with all my doors and my child is safe. There is just too many children getting killed to preventable mistakes!!! God Bless this family!

i just wanna know what the mother has to say foe herself i have a 3 year old and he is not even aloud off the front porch without supervision but my prayers go out to the little one r*i*p little angel

teacher, "i" "thhink" you should "ceck" YOUR spelling before you "critize" anyone "else;s" spelling! Some of you people are unreal!!! If you really are a teacher, that explains why so many children are illiterate.
