A tanker truck carrying a load of fuel was involved in an accident today, but it could have been much worse than it turned out.

Highway patrol in Greenville says no fuel spilled, and the driver of the tanker was not injured. The driver of the pickup involved was taken to the hospital.

The accident happened on Martin Luther King highway and old Creek road around noon. While the accident is still under investigation, troopers say the driver of the pickup had a red light and pulled into the path of the tanker.

That's what they get for running red lights. every day I see people disobey the traffic laws and run red lights with complete disregard for the safety of others and them selves. Just think about the people that can get hurt before you act.
