Trees Down, Roof Off In Farmville

The high winds on the tail end of the Alberto were certainly strong, prompting a high wind advisory to be issued through 6 p-m Wednesday.
A tree was blown down in downtown Farmville on South Mail street, taking down a utility line. Callers to WITN-7 reported trees down and the roof peeled off a barn near Farmville, about two miles South of the town on Highway 258 as you head to Snow Hill. Near the Lenoir-Wayne county line, there are reports of trees and power lines down.
