On and off quick downpours will be possible through Sunday afternoon. Heavier rain could bring another 1 to 3 inches of rain to a few locations late Sunday and into Monday afternoon.
With fireworks and live music, it's almost unbelievable that the first night of the Washington Summer Festival could be outdone, but somehow festival goers managed to rev-up even more entertainment, excitement, food and fun for the second and final day of the attractions. Exotic foods, hand made crafts, tasty southern treats, music in the streets, everything your eyes could see and stomach could hold, made a debut along the waterfront. Our own Doppler Dog was invited to meet and greet the Summer Festival goers Saturday morning. The Washington Summer Festival wrapped up at 11 p.m. on Saturday.
